Yes. In Webconverger's case, we deploy kiosks for use in schools and
libraries. We need to set them up in advance on different sorts of
hardware.

Hardware that could be LVDS1 or VGA1 the next IIUC.


We can't use GUI tools, because:
A) Webconverger is strictly Web only viewport and although a Web GUI
tool for rotating/sizing the screen is implementable, I'd rather not
do it
B) we don't want public users of the machine to possibly set the
screen upside down and disrupt the next user's session
