Tried that before, same result.  Tvtime doesn't work because it doesn't
use the video overlay device, like kdetv and xawtv are supposed to.  I
could use that if I had a /dev/video0, but the Xvideo overlay seems to
be a different kind of system (and a fairly impenetrable one at that).
