Follow up.
If I go into xorg.conf and specify only the S3Virge as a screen, it
works. Of course, only one screen not two.
But, then if I specify dual with the S3 ProSavage as Screen 1 (exact
opposite as above) I get the same blank screen but the err or is now;
(EE) SAVAGE(1): Cannot read V_BIOS (3) Input/output error
EE) SAVAGE(1): Failed to fetch any BIOS modes. Disabling BIOS.
(EE) SAVAGE(1): Cannot read V_BIOS (3) Input/output error
(II) SAVAGE(1): 6216 kB of Videoram needed for 3D; 2048 kB of Videoram
available
(EE) SAVAGE(1): Insufficient Videoram available for 3D -- Try a lower
color depth or smaller desktop. For integrated savages try increasing
the videoram in the BIOS.
(EE) SAVAGE(1): DRI isn't enabled
(EE) SAVAGE(1): restarting S3 graphics engine reset 1 ...
(EE) SAVAGE(1): restarting S3 graphics engine reset 2 ...
(EE) SAVAGE(1): restarting S3 graphics engine reset 3 ...
(EE) SAVAGE(1): restarting S3 graphics engine reset 4 ...
Remember, I don't get any Savage error messages when it is Screen 0,
either alone or with the Virge as Screen 1.
It appears that the x server doesn't like two S3 cards together.
