getting device path or sysfs name of input device

I recently sent a patch to the server to expose the device path as an
xinput property:

And one to evdev to expose the output of the EVIOCGPHYS ioctl (useful as
unique key, other info can be looked up by using it as a key in
/proc/bus/input/devices:
