Just created a bugzilla entry with Xorg.0.log submitted. It's ...
Bug 32077 - [xserver] commit 648c8871c92727d7b6b16859f27f12266a06a16e
breaks "xv" and "ImageMagick"
Window manager is fvwm. No other desktop environment. Just running
"xv" and imagemagick's "display" shows the same problem. Again,
reverting the patch works.
It could be interactiion with the "intel" driver. I've tried under
vmware, and the blank window is not as bad ... just moving the mouse
will cause xv to display correctly. Under intel i965, it'll take more
effort to make xv display correctly. I've attached the bad image as
well (this one came from vmware and it's white). From i965, it's
_black_, and when moving the window, can't even see anything.
Thanks,
Jeff
