kdrive - future plans

Hi,

I did have a look at the Xi810 for my atom board, just to realize that it did 
not make the development as the former i810 driver, but can only be used with 
the old i810 chipset. Well the name reflects this. 
So I had a look at newer xserver sources, hoping there has been some 
development. But the Xi810 and other kdrive targets vanished.

So where is the development of kdrive going?
Is it obsolete? Shall the normal Xserver be used for embedded projects?
