I think what's happening is that if you are listed as a "current"
member then no "renew your membership" button appears.
If we want to keep this manual renewal step in the future, (which has
benefits since I believe our bylaws determine the validity of
elections based on a percentage of "active" members), then we need to
manually expire everyone's membership before starting the election
process.
And I guess this didn't happen this time around, (which is probabyl my
fault for not documenting the process better from last year).
Thanks for your patience. And rest assured that you'll be able to vote
just fine.
