vga output on intel 4500MHD

I've tried letting it guess and xrandr shows up only three posible
resolutions: 1024x768, 800x600 and 640x480. 

I know the TV can do better (it can even do 1920x1080, but not with VGA
input), but every time I try something else than 1280x1024 the tv
screen goes black and that's that. 

I thought it was just a matter of setting the correct ModeLine for it
but now I'm not so sure anymore.
