Who grabbed my cursor ?

Maybe you have the same issue I'm seeing i.g.
on an imac(usb mouse) from time to time
left click will act as three finger tap from a synaptic
touchpad; opening up a menu.
(or my system has been high jacked by root, and I've nothing
to do but just be the b^*ch!!).
