Hi guys,

It worked!!! Below are the steps I followed:

1) Download the code from git:

   # git clone git://anongit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-chips

2) Fetch the driver code for the 7.2 release:

   # cd /usr/ports/x11-drivers/xf86-video-chips
   # make fetch

3) Then, I compared the fetched version against the one downloaded from git. There were updated three files: ct_driver.c, ct_shadow.c and ct_video.c

4) Copy those three files into the fetched src directory

5) make install

After all these, the driver was created and installed.

Thank you guys for helping me with this issue. I REALLY appreciate your help!!!

Regards,

ggmoy
