XORG_MACROS_VERSION test is filled with hate

Thank you for the tip.  The problem was rendercheck's autogen.sh, and
your suggestion helped me track this down.  See commit
37eac61e71a313df9927ca2a41ef49bda92fd9c6 in app/rendercheck.
