no ouput with KMS on intel G45

Hi all,

I just compiled a 2.6.29-rc1 kernel with KMS enabled.

I have disabled automatic start of the X server and I connect remotely
(ssh) to load the i915 module.

Before loading the module I have a console at 640x480 at 60Hz.
But once the module is loaded I get no output (or at last my TV doesn't
recognize it and it goes into power save).

From the syslog it seems the kernel guess the correct modeline
(1920x1080 at 50Hz). I then tried to launch a freshly build (from git
master) X server in the hope it will output something, but I had no luck.

The X server starts, clients can connect but still nothing on the screen.
I tried to switch to another resolution, the first time I run xrandr it
printed strange resolutions :
$ xrandr

Failed to change the screen configuration!


Then the ouput of xrandr changed :

Note: I tried both DVI and HDMI outputs with the same results.
