Help interpreting evdev error messages?

Please ignore that part.  I rebooted the machine and the problem
vanished. So now both the keyboard and mouse are working perfectly.

I'd still like to know about the remaining error messages in my
previous post, though, so if you have any ideas I'd be grateful.
Should I just ignore them?
