[xorg-server-1.5.0] keyb hang after starting q3

Why is the menu then rendered correctly?
To be more precise. The menu isn't static, there is the moving q3 logo 
at the top. And this one is moving.

And why am I not experiencing this with other applications (yet)?

Sry, but this error message is originating from another source.

Probably this one:

There was also a discussion on the ml about the intel flicker problem. I 
e.g. can reproduce this by simply calling xrandr (without parms). This 
also leaves this error msg in the log.

So this is not input related.
