02-DBG removal
instead of removing DBG calls maybe it would be better to convert them to
conditional xf86Msg's instead?
01-ABI removal - no.
Though I don't really have any problems with the patch from my POV, one reply
to your email hardly counts as consensus. and I think the few lines that are
used for ABI 0 aren't really distracting, so we might as well leave them in.
You'd need to find someone else to push that one :)
