  They are optional.
  It should work with standard ispell and aspell. The original code was
for ispell, and I updated it to work correctly with aspell.
  Most of the fonts are required for the html and sgml syntax highlight
modes. But those could also be redefined, for example, dec-misc is only
used inside <screen> tags in sgml mode.
