Ok, sometimes I wish I post 30 minutes later. I just compiled the patched
Mesa and now I have working compiz as well and the screen is rendered
correctly except for the top line where my Gnome panel is. It is only on the
left screen and right screen has this 'black hole' line. Not sure what is
responsible for this (but likely compiz as Metacity has no issue with this,
I'll try to ask on compiz forum).

Any tips for making GNOME always display its menu line on LVDS screen?

Anyway thanks for help, it is Friday and I didn't manage to break anything
