error while running Xorg on ARM platform

Please use something recent - there are lots of bugs nobody can remember
in such ancient versions as 6.8.*.

Have a look at build recipies in OpenEmbedded
(http://openembedded.org/), but I suppose they migrated to newer
versions long ago.
