Hi list,

I'm trying to get a mach64 working on a sparc64 (SunBlade 100). I used latest drm from git and also xf86-video-ati from git. I have an old CRT attached to the VGA output (a Scott B17CL). When I don't set any HorizSync or VertRefresh X comes up and is usable at 800x600. I googled for the exact specs of the monitor and added them to the Monitor Section. No matter what line for VertRefresh I choose I get an "OUT OF RANGE" problem. This was a good thing since it showed me that the specs I googled were correct:

HF: 30-95
VF: 47-160

This is exactly what I got in my xorg.conf. But for some strange reason the monitor is always used with 69/179. And that 179 is not supported. Is that a bug in the mach64 driver? Can someone tell me where to look for a solution (next to the solution at using the system with 800x600 ... ;-) ).

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance,
  Christoph
