Got that now... I thought I would need all that stuff as it is said in
http://intellinuxgraphics.org/install.html. Probably you could add something
there telling the people who are not experts (like me) about some
dependencies: that you can use xf86-video-intel from git with the versions of
xserver, mesa and drm you told here in your first mail.

So this could be the result of installing xserver and mesa from git and
downgrading to the debian unstable versions on a lenny system? I'll try to
find out what is not compatible here.
