  Hi,

Maybe http://hardware4linux.info/ is a good place to add/collect
this information.

I learned about this site a few weeks ago, when trying to find a
contact with Frederic Lepied. Afaik he is working for intel, and
was very helpful on helping me to resolve/work on some issues with
recent input hotplug rework in X Org.

BTW the visibility patches Colin is talking about is some recent
changes where I used, and completed the _X_EXPORT macros in X Org
server and modules, i.e. only symbols that are accessed by other
modules are of "public" visibility, with some exceptions like mesa
or libraries where everything is visible as usual...

Also, if you are using Mandriva and choose to send information to
hardware4linux.info/, just "urpmi hwreport" and run something like
"sudo /usr/sbin/hwreport /tmp/report" and upload /tmp/report.tar.bz2,
registration required... (I gain nothing for this, just trying to
be helpful :-)

Thanks,
Paulo
