Hi Richard, unfortunately not. Cold started my laptop now, read your
email, launched glxgears, moved the window and got the system freeze.

Due to the fonts bug I'm still using XAA, which could be the reason of
the lockups. Is there a patch I can use against the 2.2.0 drivers to
solve this bug and give EXA a try?

As I said I had no luck compiling the drivers from git due to the
missing macro errors (running Xorg 1.4.0.90).
