Xinerama dead? If not, Xinerama and Compiz-Fusion?

The function of randr-1.2 and xinerama are quite different. Xinerama
is only to let different screens coexist and make applications aware
of it. randr-1.2 is a way to manage one of more monitors. randr-1.2
does send "fake" xinerama hints.
