Display of Intel G35/X3500 via HDMI on HDTV is shifted to the left

Hi Arjen.
Indeed I have the same problem here.
asus p5e-vm hdmi (bios uptodate) and sharp aquos 42xd1e.
the image is shifted to the left (not able to count precisely the offset 
though but 30ish seems correct)
Can anyone help us?
(BTW: is there a way to compensate for the shift like with xvidtune on 
old analog outputs.?)
