Yeah, trading one bug for another is not what I was intending with that 
patch... I'll dig out my 965 test machines and see if I can reproduce the 
problem; it seemed ok on my i915 test machine.  The only thing I can think of 
is that I may need a "is supported" check prior to the disable call.  If so, 
this might work for you, can you give it a try?
