On LFS LiveCD updated to Mesa 557b0d9 and xorg-server b6d4cdf (both from stable 
branckes), this hangs the machine (only cursor moves, no ability to get out with 
Ctrl+Alt+F1 or Ctrl+Alt+Bksp) almost immediately after starting Xfce (it only 
paints a splash screen and then freezes). This didn't happen with the previous 
snapshot I tested (xf86-video-intel c35ab31), will try bisecting after work.
