X crashing taking everything else with it.

Hello,

I have a problem, a very irritating and completely random problem,
sometimes it happens 10 times a day, sometimes it doesn't happen for a
month, I'll try to describe the problem the best I can, given that
nothing appears in the logs, perhaps someone has a clue of what's
going on...

I use Gnome 2.22 ( it used to happen with gnome 2.20 too ) and while
working, just suddenly, X quits reverting back to a VT, tty1 actually,
but nothing would work, it's like the Card is just stuck, and
everything else stop too, for example mpd stops... The only thing left
to do is pressing <Ctrl><Alt>Delete, surprisingly fbsplash changes the
state of the Card back to normal when shutting down, but nothing else
does...

Now it's happening to me when I use pm-suspend, after waking up, X
crashes immediately reverting back to tty1 with this weird state..
Nothing in the logs neither

Since there isn't anything in the logs I took a screenshot[1] of my
laptop once it hanged up...
