x11-drivers/xf86-video-i810 kernel DOs and DONTs

Hi everybody,

can anyone tell me which kernel modules to build and which to omit in order to get the x11-drivers/xf86-video-i810 driver working with dri?

I've re-emerged these packages in this order (with options -uDN)

libdrm
mesa
xorg-server
xf86-video-i810

which seems to be the way to get dri working for most users, but not for me...
