Hello,

I have read some postings with similar problems before but I did not
find a solution.

Hardware: Acer TravelMate 620, i830m, 1400x1050 LCD
Software: Debian unstable

setup-new: xorg 7.3+2 / core 1.4-2, intel 2.1.1-4 - only 1280x1024
