I'm not convinced that xprint has anybody interested in maintaining it
who actually uses it for anything other than testing whether xprint
still works, using test apps and a write-to-a-file backend.  So the
solution for server 1.4 is "don't enable xprint".

I threw your patch onto master and fixed the build there anyway.
