Hi ,
  I already set CONFIG_VT=y . But I couldn't see any /dev/tty* s . An the X
is crashing with error "xf86OpenConsole: Cannot open /dev/tty0 device
=(null) (No such file or directory)"

I enabled the following VT settings in the kernel

CONFIG_VT=y
CONFIG_VT_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_HW_CONSOLE=y
CONFIG_VT_HW_CONSOLE_BINDING=y
