Hi,
trying to start Xorg (server 1.4) with xf86-video-ati 6.7.195 with only a TV
connected to the S-Video port results in
(EE) RADEON(0): No valid modes.
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
even though everything is configured for 800x600 at 60 Hz.

(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
Am I doing something stupid here, or is this a driver bug?
The related parts of my xorg.conf are
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "S-video"
HorizSync 30-40
VertRefresh 60
EndSection
Section "Device"
Identifier "Card0"
Driver "ati"
VendorName "ATI Technologies Inc"
BoardName "Radeon 9100 PRO IGP"
BusID "PCI:1:5:0"
EndSection
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen0"
Device "Card0"
Monitor "S-video"
DefaultDepth 24
SubSection "Display"
Modes "800x600"
Virtual 800 600
Depth 24
EndSubSection
EndSection
I've also tried forcing a TV-like modeline for 800x600 (40.00 ), with no
change.
Thanks,
bero
