Swedish characters using US keyboard

Hi,

I am using a US keyboar, but would like to be able to type Swedish
letters with it. I would like to remap the following key combinations:

From:              To:
Alt+a              Ã¥
Alt+A              Ã

Alt+e              Ã¤
Alt+E              Ã„
Alt+o              Ã¶
Alt+O              Ã–

Is it possible? if so, how can it be done?
