Keith,

Here is my boxes config...

$ Xorg -version

Module Loader present

Isn't it enough ?

Sorry, but the Intel driver of my box cannot do that...
$ xrandr --output LVDS --reflect xy
xrandr: output LVDS cannot use rotation "normal" reflection "X and Y axis"

On other boxes...
Concerning the output name how to determine it ?

Cu,
J.

You may need newer X server bits, but the intel driver supports all
reflections and rotations.

Also, xrandr is a bit broken in that it doesn't make sure the requested
output actually exists, so perhaps you've got the output name wrong in
the second example.
