Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x7)

Hi,

so, this whole XInitThreads() thing didn't help, unfortunately.

I checked its return value, the call succeeds, so that's not the problem.

I now fork a user level thread on the native side using boost::thread that
performs the event handling (after XInitThreads has been called of course),
but I still get "Xlib unexpected async reply" errors.

Any other suggestions?
