DRI, Xv, and much of the Render acceleration all use the 3D engine which
has the 2048 limit. We may have gotten these checks in place, but I'm
not sure. What I do is use --below to stack the screens vertically
instead of horizontally, but that may not work for you either. You can
try setting the size higher; I'm not sure we've tested that very
carefully though.
