I don't have any personal plans to do this, but I'd like to see it
happen at some point. Ideally, we'd create a driver-independent layer to
manage this as the Radeon has the same limitation. I can imagine it
being fairly straightforward where you wrap multiple smaller pixmaps
into a larger object and operate like the existing backing store code
does.
