Hi again,

sorry, the last report was relative to some older i810+modesetting branch patches
as I failed to notive that the new driver installs under the name "intel" :-(

The new release driver works like a charme :-)! It sets up the internal
display @1280x800 and the VGA connected external display @1280x1024
and allows individiaul mode changing and deactivation and activating just
fine.

Sorry for the first bogus report - that just what happens when drivers are
renamed just for the fun of it :-)
