Pavel, thanks, I had suspected this too, but had the identifier as 
MyVgaMonitorSection[0]. When I killed the [0], all is well on the 
2/24/2207 git code. For the first time, I actually get all the 
resolutions I was hoping for.

Keith:

Do you have any ideas why I m killing the Xserver with the subsequent 
git, or the 1.9.91 (2.0 RC1) tarball release, with or without the extra 
monitor section? It must be related to one of the last code changes.
