Hi All

First post to this list - please point out any errors I'm making!

I'm trying to use two video cards simultaneously under Ubuntu 7.04
- long term goal would be Freevo or similar app running full screen on
one monitor and the other a regular desktop.

I started by trying to use xinerama. My xorg.conf and the X log
file are at http://bmckee.pastebin.com/930752

X just crashes with backtrace information. I can use either card
on it's own but not both together. I've changed tried two different
secondary video cards and both the nv and nvidia drivers on the
primary card with no change. I'm not sure what other steps to take
to troubleshoot this further. Pokes in the right direction
appreciated.

Related question - If Xinerama isn't going to work for me - how do
I configure X so that each video card is an independent session? I'm
assuming that the keyboard and mouse would only work in the tty
selected with cntrl-alt-Fx, but the other session would run fine 'in
the background'

Comments appreciated,
Brian
