TV Out problems

Hi,
I have a Dell 640m which has an Intel 945GM. I've been using the new intel
drivers and I have a couple of problems :
- I can't get TV-OUT to work reliably. I get the picture, but the colors are
wrong (they flicker). Using 'xrandr --verbose', I see that the TV_FORMAT is
not set. This is what I get :

- My second problem is that even tho there's no VGA monitor attached, the
driver still shows a mode and that confuses my window window manager. this
is what I get :
   VGA disconnected 1680x1050+0+0 (normal left inverted right) 450mm x 280mm
      1024x768_60    60.0

I would appreciate any help. I'm willing to test anything :)
