Yes. They said "This has not been reported on Windows, can you try it 
with that?" They didn't show much interest in repairing a Linux-specific 
problem.

I have a ROM upgrade to try. If that doesn't fix it, I might ask you for 
a bit of corroboration the next time I correspond with them.
