Segfault with xorg 7.2 on Alpha. Please help.

I've solved my own issue.

The Alpha Server 800 has an EV56 processor. Yet when Xorg or a graphical
app is compiled with -mcpu=ev56, it will segfault or hard lock the
machine.  My solution was to drop the CFLAG to -mcpu=ev5.
