Hi all,
First of all, a huge apology on the short notice. We were hoping to get
six months' notice, but the booking was a bit of a nightmare, so instead
we get two months'.

Anyhow. The X Developers' Summit will be on the 10th-12th September,
and you're all invited. Currently we are planning for 40 people, but
can accommodate more than that _if we know immediately_. We expect
slots to fill up pretty quickly, so please do let us know soon. :)

If you would like to attend but don't think you can afford it -- please,
just make sure you have the time free. We'll be announcing a very
extensive sponsorship program soon, so just make sure you keep yourself
available; I cannot stress this enough.

More details are on the wiki page:
http://www.x.org/wiki/Events/XDS2007

Anyone who wants to speak is welcome to: please put your name down in
the proposed talks section of the program page.

I'd like to say a huge thanks to the rest of the X.Org Foundation's
Board for backing this so strongly, and to Matthew Garrett for local
organisation help.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Cheers,
Daniel, your friendly organiser
