Radeon 7000 and DRI = freeze. Bug?

I was going to say the same thing, but AFAICT from the launchpad entry
above they already have that fix. So I'm not sure what's going on but
would still recommend trying current upstream git for xf86-video-ati and
drm as well as maybe a newer kernel (for possible agpgart fixes). Beyond
that, I can only think of tweaking AGP stuff (e.g. why are there two AGP
backend modules loaded?).
