Radeon Xpress 1100 / 200M confusion

Hi,

I bought an ACER Aspire 3103NLM notebook.
It was advertised as it has Radeon Xpress 1100.
What the heck, I thought, I will have to use the frglx
drivers. Much to my surprise, my FC6/x86-64
installer recognised it as an Xpress 200M, and installed
the radeon driver, which at least makes it 2D accelerated.
How happy I am! :-) It even accelerates XV.

lspci says:
01:05.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RS482 [Radeon
Xpress 200M]

My questions are:
Are the Xpress 1xxx series chips just relabelled 200[M]s?
Is 3D acceleration coming soon to my laptop? ;-)

Best regards,
Zoltán Böszörményi
