xrandr doesn't list 1440x900

Hi,
I use XFCE, and I have one problem:
When I try to configure XFCE to use 1440x900 resolution, it doesn't give
me the 1440x900 choice.
A contributor told me it's because xrandr does not list my resolution.
That's right:

        mihamina at asus:~$ xrandr -q
         SZ: Pixels Physical Refresh
        *0 1152 x 768 ( 390mm x 260mm ) *55
         1 1024 x 768 ( 390mm x 260mm ) 60
         2 800 x 600 ( 390mm x 260mm ) 60 56
         3 640 x 480 ( 390mm x 260mm ) 60
        Current rotation - normal
        Current reflection - none
        Rotations possible - normal
        Reflections possible - none

So, given my (attached) xorg.conf, how to edit it to make xrandr list
1440x900?
