error in compiling X

Hello!

while compiling X i am getting "xf86GetMotionEvents undeclared" error in
vmmouse driver.

Well! till now for all the "xf86GetMotionEvents" errors in any driver i have
been commenting that driver. but getting suspicious about vmmouse driver. Do
i need this driver for a personal desktop supporting vnc, ICA and other thin
client protocols ?
