Yeah, all the SDVO chips I've seen are made by third parties.

There's a generic protocol for talking to SDVO chips.  That protocol is
not published, sadly, but at least any SDVO TMDS chip should work the
same way so they're all supported.  There's been code posted for SDVO
TV-out support, which I haven't had time yet to review and integrate,
but is high on my list of things I want to get to.
