I am using x11-drm (external module package) snapshot version 20061207 and
libdrm 2.3.0. Is the x11-drm recent enough or too recent?

Here's the current dmesg relevant info:

vesafb: Intel Corporation, Intel(r) 82945GM Chipset Family Graphics
Controller, Hardware Version 0.0 (OEM: Intel(r) 82945GM Chipset Family
Graphics Chip Accelerated VGA BIOS)
Linux agpgart interface v0.101 (c) Dave Jones
agpgart: Detected an Intel 945GM Chipset.
agpgart: Detected 7932K stolen memory.
agpgart: AGP aperture is 256M @ 0xb0000000
[drm] Initialized drm 1.1.0 20060810
[drm] Initialized i915-mm 1.7.0 20060929 on minor 0:
[drm] Used old pci detect: framebuffer loaded

As for dmesg output, the system hardlocks and I have no way to retrieve the
dmesg upon fail. Any suggestions for that?
